Closer and Closer...

Zainspirowana słonecznym początkiem tygodnia postanowiłam znaleźć kilka piosenek, które wydają mi się najlepiej oddawać nastrój budzący się w większości z nas, kiedy bliska wiosna staje się faktem a nie jedynie majaczącą w oddali obietnicą przebudzenia z zimowego snu. A że dzisiejszy dzień w polskiej tradycji zwykliśmy nazywać ostatkami (lub jak wolą Brytyjczycy "dniem naleśnika") dodałam też kilka piosenek, które by nam o tym przypomniały. Może muzyka nie jest stworzona na ostatkową zabawę, ale wydaje mi się, że budzi pozytywne emocje i jest przyjemna dla ucha:)

Inspired by the sunny beginning of the week I decided to find few songs that seem to best remind me of the feelings that most of us have, when the springtime slowly becomes a reality and the spring awakening is no longer a hazy promise. And as us, Polish people, modestly call the last day of carnival a Shrovetide (or as British do - a Pancake Day) I tried to add some songs that could remind us about that as well. Maybe the music I chose isn't perfect for the last day of carnival's party, but it seems to arouse positive feelings and is definitely nice to listen to:) Enjoy:)
