The Royal Wedding

Co prawda nie dałam się porwać całemu szaleństwu towarzyszącemu przygotowaniom do ślubu Williama i Kate, jednak będąc w Londynie grzechem byłoby nie zobaczyć jak będą świętować Brytyjczycy. Niestety nie udało mi się dostać w pobliże trasy, którą Kate i Will mieli przejechać - nie mówiąc już o Buckingham i Westminster Abbey gdzie ludzie spali w namiotach już od poniedziałku. Obejrzałam jednak część z opactwa na telebimach w Hyde Parku, a później odwiedziłam Trafalgar Square. Media i internet pełne są teraz pięknych zdjęć z ceremonii, więc na moich macie szansę zobaczyć jak Londyn wyglądał z perspektywy normalnego śmiertelnika;)

I didn't go with the whole craziness before William&Kate's Wedding but being in London I decided that it's my duty to see what it'll be like in the centre of the City. I didn't manage to get anywhere near the Royal Procession route - not to mention Buckingham or the Westminster Abbey, where people were camping from Monday. I did however manage to see the part from Westminster on flat screens in Hyde Park and then went to Trafalgar Square. Media and internet are full of beautiful pictures from the ceremony, so mine are a bit different and show how London looked like from a commoner perspective;)
